To celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, our friends at Kleine Zalze are giving two lucky readers a bottle of Zalze Vineyard Reserve Fairtrade Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 which is sold exclusively in the Co-Op.

Kleine Zalze has been part of Fairtrade since 2013 and their first Fairtrade wines appeared on our shelves in 2015  Their first big project in 2016 have enabled members of the team to learn Xhosa, receive computer training and music lessons every Saturday. The goal is to improve the general well-being of the team and the Kleine Zalze Fairtrade committee decides which projects to pursue and how the money generated from sales is spent.

Terms and conditions

  1. This free competition is open only to all UK residents aged 18 and over at the date of entry and excludes employees of Wines of South Africa or their subsidiaries, and excludes anyone who is connected with the administration of this promotion.
  2. Entry is via email or by post to: info at winesofsa dot com. Or send your entry to: Wines of South Africa, Thornton House, Thornton Road, Wimbledon, SW19 4NG. Entries will be collected by the staff at Wines of South Africa. Entrants must include their name, address, email contact address, date of birth and the answer to the question to be entered in to the prize draw. No purchase necessary to enter the competition.
  3. The Promoter will not be liable for entries which are not received or which are incomplete, corrupt or delayed for any reason. The competition opens on Thursday 8th March 2018 and the last date for receipt of entries is Thursday 29th March 2018 at 23:59pm.
  4. All valid entries which are received by Thursday 29th March 2018 at 23:59pm will be entered into the competition. Winners will be selected from all valid entrants by Tuesday 3rd April 2018. The winners will be chosen by Jo Wehring, Market Manager for Wines of South Africa. There are two prizes each consisting of:
  5. 1 x 75cl bottle of Zalze Vineyard Reserve Fairtrade Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
  6. The prize cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. There is no cash alternative.
  7. Winners are limited to one prize per household.
  8. Multiple entries over 1 time per unique entrant will be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter.
  9. The winners will be notified by email (using the details provided at the time of entry) by Tuesday 3rd April 2018. Prizes will be delivered via the Royal Mail to the postal address provided upon entry. The winners’ name and county will be available six weeks after the closing date by sending a SAE to Wines of South Africa, Kleine Zalze Fairtrade promotion, Thornton House, Thornton Road, Wimbledon, London, SW19 4NG.
  10. In the event that contact cannot be made with the winner within 30 days from the first date of an attempt to notify such winner, then no more attempts will be made to contact the winner and the prize will be forfeited. A new winner will then be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
  11. The winner should allow at least 14 days from notification of winning for delivery of the prize. The prize will be delivered to a UK address only (postage included).The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the prize being lost, damaged or delayed in the post or for any additional costs incurred for re-postage.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify from the promotion any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through the manipulation of data, multiple entries, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter.

If there is an issue that prevents an entry from being submitted you must provide all the mandatory data (email address, first name, surname, date of birth and postal address), confirm that you accept the Terms and Conditions, confirm you are over 18 for your entry to be valid.   15. If there is any dispute about the receipt of validity of any entry or any other aspect of the competition, this will be decided by us. The Promoter’s decision is final in every situation (including any not covered by these terms and conditions) and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. Promoter may collect personal information from Entrants under the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data privacy laws. Unless you have expressly consented to the use of your personal information for future marketing purposes the Promoter will only use Entrants’ information for the purposes of the administration of this Prize Draw.
  17. By entering this prize draw you agree that the Promoter may use your name for promotional purposes, including, without limitation, on its websites, social media, within its magazines or within promotional emails.
  18. Wines of South Africa reserves the right at its absolute discretion to cancel the competition without prior notice in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control that make it necessary to do so.
  19. Entry to the competition shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately on your entry to the free competition. If these terms and conditions are not accepted in full, then you should not enter this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
  20. The prize draw and the terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
